H037694 FRAMED PHOTOGRAPH "Sd.Kfz. 9".

The Sd.Kfz. 9 (Sonder-Kraftfahrzeug 9 - Schwerer Zugkraftwagen 18 t) was the heaviest half-track vehicle of the German Wehrmacht. During World War II, it was primarily used as a prime mover for the heavy artillery pieces of the army, as well as for towing and recovery. This photo shows an artillery tractor with benches and space for ready ammunition, pulling a trailer and bridge components in the mountains.

An 18cm x 13.5cm black and white image in a 19cm x 25cm, black frame with original paper backing and suspension loop in present. The paper backing has lifted along three of the four edges, causing it to be a bit fragile.
