Armourers zeroing scope for the ZF41. Pictured and described in "Sniper Variations of the German K98 Rifle" by R.D. Law. Tooled sheet metal and alloy dual overlaid, 2 1/2" tall cylindrical base with a 3/4" diameter and 1 3/8" tall, 7/8" wide semi circular objective head piece. Internal cylindrical base can be raised or lowered and allows the head piece to be turn 360 degrees while external cylindrical base has a locking screw. Bottom of base has two fine horizontal slashes to attach it to an ocular base end. Ocular base is absent. Optics are slightly smoky, but not bad. Sight is well marked "V 2x", indicating Vergrößern, (2 x magnification).
