BACKGROUND: Shortly after Czechoslovakia was formed in 1919 the firm of Jihoceska Zbrojovka was created to develop a firearms business in the country. In 1922 Jihoceska Zbrojovka amalgamated with an engineering firm and became, Ceska Zbrojovka setting up shop in Strakonitz. Shortly after its formation the new Ceska Zbrojovka firm secured a contract to produce pistols for the Czechoslovakian Army. The first pistol developed was the 6.35mm "Fox" pistol , which developed into the CZ22 pistol. Further developments brought about the 9mm "Nickl" which evolved into the 7.65mm CZ27 pistol. In September 1938, as a result of the "Munich Agreement" between Britain, France and Germany the north eastern Czechoslovakian Sudetenland was ceded to Germany, allegedly as Hitler’s last territorial claim in Europe. On March 14TH 1939 the German army marched into what remained of Czechoslovakia, unopposed, and established the German Protectorate of Bohemia & Moravia and the independent state of Slovakia which in reality was just a puppet state of the Germans. As with other states the Germans had occupied they soon began utilizing the armaments industry of the occupied Czechoslovakian states to make up for short falls in German armaments production.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: P.27(t) 7.65x17mmSR/.32 ACP Pistol with Holster (Deactivated). Note: Manufactured in 1943 according to serial number by "fnh" (Böhmische Waffenfabrik A.G. [Prague, Czechoslovakia]). Included are two 8 round detachable box magazines, one in pistol and one in spare magazine pouch in holster. Magazine in pistol is removable. No cock or click.

Note. Because the magazine is not de-activated, we now require the buyer have a current PAL (Possession and Acquisition License). If you do not have a PAL, you may purchase the De-aviated Pistol with-out the magazine.
