A 28cm x 33cm, framed, original group portrait of one company of Fallschirmjäger Regiment 1, taken by the photography studio Foto Palm Stendal (where one paratrooper school was located and one battalion of Fallschirmjäger Regiment 1 was based. The printed header at the top of the matte reads Zur Erinnerung an die Dienstzeit beim Fallschirm-Jäger Regiment 1 ("In remembrance of the Service in Paratrooper Regiment 1"). Many of the men (but not all) in the photograph can be seen wearing Fallschirmjäger Regiment 1 cufftitles and paratrooper badges. Super condition, a professional portrait taken outdoors in the barracks area. The portrait has been professionally framed (in the 2000’s) in a beautiful distressed-wood frame with 100 percent non-reflective museum glass, so requires special handling and cleaning. The actual portrait measures approximately 17.5cm x 23cm.
