A German Remembrance Card for a Gebirgsjäger. Printed card announcing the death in combat of Sanitäts-Unteroffizier (Medical Sergeant) Anton Mühlbauer, who served "in einem Gebirgsjäger Regiment" and died on the Russian Front on January 25, 1944. In the photo on the card he is seen wearing the EKII ribbon and the Edelweiss insignia of the Mountain Troops on the side of his mountain cap. Very Fine condition.
