BACKGROUND: New pattern white summer tunic introduced in July 1937 to replace the earlier Reichswehr pattern white tunic. These tunics were an optional uniform item for Officer’s and were only intended to be worn between April 1ST and September 30TH, as a walking out uniform, Informal dress, or for viewing or participating in certain sporting events.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: White cotton twill tunic with eight (s-ring removable) button front closure with dual hooks and eyes at neck. Lay down collar without collar tabs as prescribed by regulations. Four front pleated patch pockets with scalloped button down flaps. Reverse tail skirt center vent. Original attachment loops for the breast eagle are present (just needs an eagle). Ribbon bar loops still present. Nice pair of Admin "pass though" style boards. Roughly size 36" chest.
